SUSANNE BIER is a Danish director nonetheless she has made her mark in the United States, winning the Academy Award for Best Foreign Film in 2011 for her film In a Better World<\/a><\/em> (2010) –\u00a0the year after Bigelow won the Oscar for\u00a0Hurt Locker<\/a><\/em> (2009).<\/p>\n

In June of this year it was announced that Bier was on the shortlist to potentially direct the next Bond film.<\/p>\n
