BEEBAN KIDRON began as a filmmaker in London where she directed the mini-series of Jeanette Winterson’s Oranges are not the Only Fruit<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>(1990) for the BBC. She also started Film Club, an after-school program for kids in England and Whales.<\/p>\n

She moved to Hollywood to direct\u00a0Used People<\/a><\/em> (1992) with Shirley MacLaine and directs both narrative fiction and documentary.<\/p>\n
