ALETA CHAPPELLE works primarily as a casting director but has always been interested in storytelling on a larger scale. She studied at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and then went on to cast films for Francis Ford Coppola who executive produced her directorial feature debut\u00a0Goosed<\/em> (1999).<\/p>\n

Her most recent film Romeo and Juliet in Harlem<\/em> (2015) was funded via a crowdfunding campaign and brings her back to her classical theatre roots.<\/p>\n
