ESTER BRYM moved from Prague to study filmmaking in New York City. She worked as an editor and then moved to Los Angeles where she directed her first feature length documentary Butterflies (2009) about YouTubers.
Her recent documentary venture Not Your Skin (2017) explores transgender issues.
