Abeles was an associate producer on Jennifer Siebel Newsom’s Miss Representation (2010) after directing her first documentary Race to Nowhere (2010) which she has self distributed.

ELENA ROSSINI directed the documentary feature film The Illusionists (2015) which is “a feature-length documentary about the marketing of unattainable beauty ideals around the world.”

The DGA makes the claim that Patricia Riggen “may be the only Mexican-born woman directing movies in Hollywood today.” Riggens received her MFA in film from Columbia.

JULIA HALPERIN is a member of the Austin chapter of Film Fatales. She received her Bachelor’s from Hunter College in New York and her MFA from the University of Texas.

Halperin was nominated along with her collaborator Jason Cortlund for the “Breakthrough Directors” category at the Gotham Awards for their feature film debut Now, Forager (2012).
